Every HTT account gets 10 MB free, forever — no card, no trial, no expiry. That covers a profile picture, a CV and a few article covers, which is all most people ever need. Past that, space is bought in blocks by the month with HTT tokens.

Prices are set by HTT and can change; a change never re-prices a month you have already paid for. One token is ten US cents — see HTT Wallet.
What the price includes
- A failed payment never deletes a file — the account just stops taking new ones.
- Cancel whenever; you keep the month you have already paid for.
- Deleted files wait thirty days in the trash before the bytes go.
- Photo GPS coordinates are stripped from every image on the way in.
- No file is ever served in a way a browser could execute.
If a payment fails
The subscription goes into a grace period, and the space keeps counting while it lasts. If it runs out, the extra space stops counting and the account becomes read-only — everything already stored keeps serving exactly as before, and new uploads are refused until there is room again. At no point is anything deleted. Files only ever leave because their owner deleted them, or because a moderator took down the content they belonged to.
